Why is the government inducing large scale poverty and starvation through subsidies to the meat, dairy and egg?
industries?? Meat is cheap at the store, but we are paying high prices in subsidies. Why are fruits and vegetables so expensive. A can of peas should cost 10 cents. Instead it costs 75 cents. A beef patty should cost $15 dollars, instead it cost a dollar 50.

World hunger is not caused by our government or the meat industry. As I speak right now there already is enough food (meat and produce) for everyone. Anyone with money or any country with money can simply buy it. The problem is poverty, dictators that won’t let aid into their countries, its basically a money problem. There are starving people in the world and there is food for them to eat, we just can’t get it to all of them. Ships full of food for Ethiopia sat and rotted in the port because the corrupt government there wouldn’t let it in the country.
And I just bought a T-Bone steak for $8.10, I could have bought 18 cans of vegetables for the same amount of money.

Lo.. for a someone who claims he has a PhD in PSYCHOlogy, (self written though in crayons, and supposed math major too) you sure show a lack of understanding of both logic and arithmetic.
If meat causes starvation, they why are vegans complaining that Americans are becoming too fat due to meat consumption which you say is being promoted by the government? Your ability to contradict and delude yourself is amazing,
