Why is my flowerhorn male and female fighting with my new female another female i just bought?

I just bought a female flowerhorn and the other flowerhorns there before are beating her up….why is that? I had to put a seperator for them to calm down?

    The Flowerhorn is a territorial fish. Being cichlids they are naturally aggressive.
    You have introduced an interloper into a ‘stable’ relationship. The original male and female are trying to get rid of a potential threat to any young they might have, as Flowerhorns are known to kill and eat smaller fish.

    All animals claim a territory especially when there is at least one male and female.The first two have already claimed the tank as there’s and the new fish is an intruder. Put the new female in the side with the male and the other by itself for a day or two this should fix the problem.
