My female dog is attacking and drawing blood from older male dog. How do I stop this?
The 2 year old female has always played nicley with my 3 year old male dog and if they fought it would usually just be play fighting, but until recently, the female has brutally attacked the male and caused blood on the snout, forehead, and left ear. The older dog is left defenseless
as the female is 3 times larger than him. If I don’t fix this soon I’m going to have to return the female to the pound. Any way I can stop this quickly?

Err.. I would talk to someone that’s good with dogs, and I would also put them in a different room.

Just let her go, she can do it by her own.

Start a bit of NILIF work with her and let her know that you are in control and not her.

bREAK-UP THE FIGHT BEFORE IT ESCALATES. yOUR FEMALE DOG IS NOT JUST PLAY FIGHTING. SHE MUST START GROWLING BEFORE SHE BIGHTS. SEEK A TRAINER AS YOU MAY GET BITTEN. PUT A MUZZLE ON YOUR FEMALE DOG. DISCIPLINE HER. TEACH HER TO RESPECT SMALL DOGS.

I am having the same issues.. I have a toy poodle he’s 11 years old. My 2 year old mixed bread is gentle and kind, but is literally biting holes in my little poodle. We love them both so much. We have been crating one at a time for months now. It’s really annoying but I will do anything to keep them both safe.. If you find out what to do please share.. It is also a female attacking male situation..
