it shouldnt really be raised =/
i have one on my lower back and teh red should go away soon it’s just that it’s so new your skins just not used to it.
my tat is completely smooth and if you run your hand over it you don’t feel it. when i first got it like the day i got it the lines and stuff were swollen but that went away in like a day. if it stays raised it’s not bad it usually just means your skin doesnt like the ink.

After that it’ll stop being as red, and of course it’ll go down.
