How do I save my daughter’s pictures and videos in a safe place?
I have a lot of pictures and videos of my 7 month old daughter saved on my laptop. I’m afraid of loosing those precious memories due to a virus, stolen laptop etc… they are very important to me.
How do i save pictes and videos that i could retrive later since i like to do home videos using sony vegas.
If i save them in a dvd can i retrive them later?
thanks in advance!

Yes, you should burn 2 copies to CD. Keep a copy for yourself in the house, and then give the other one to a trusted family member or friend for safe keeping.

get a memory stick/flash drive and save them all onto it. Then you can copy all your pictures onto it for safe keeping but keep them on your computer too. If anything happens to the computer you will have a copy of all the pics on the memory stick. Or you could use a re-writable CD or if its home videos, a Re-writable DVD

you could try putting them on photobucket.com… just make sure you make your albums private so no one else can see them
if you dont want to do that then you could try putting them on a thumb drive or a cd

I’d say a memory stick. I have my son’s saved on two computers (mine and mother’s) and also plan on getting a usb stick and doing more hard copies of them.

We are in the process of converting our home videos to DVD and putting them in our Safety Deposit Box at the bank if you have one of those you could do that. We have to many pictures to do that with but the Videos are very important to my family also! Good Luck it takes a while!

What’s up kids, you all should watch funny video tutorials, however keep in mind that first study then enjoyment ok.
