What type of clothing do teens and young adults wear in Spain?

Particularly Seville, Spain and people between the ages of 17-25.

Does it ever get cold enough for people to wear scarves, gloves, and sweaters. Also are ripped jeans popular, specifically Bermuda shorts with rips already in them. (they wear made that way)

Please give me as much detail as possible about clothing and weather/temperature, I will be in the Country for four months from September to December.

Thank You
also what about skinny jeans, heels on a daily bases, or sandals. vest, short sleeve jacket vest,

Girls usually like to look fancy compared to the average american girl…. (that’s what my wife, who is from Seattle, always says)

The weather in Spain is different depending on where you are. There are 6 weather areas:

    – Northwest of Spain (Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Basque Country). Think Seattle or England. Not to hot in summer, not extremely cold in winter, always raining.

    – Central and SouthCentral (Castilla la Mancha, Northern Andalucía, Madrid). Very hot in Summer and very cold in Winter, with snow and frosts.

    – NorthCentral and Sierra Areas (Castilla y León, La Rioja, Southern Aragón, West Catalonia)sierra areas in other regions). Can get really hot in Summer during the day, even tough summer nights are slightly chilly. Winters are way harder than in Central and SouthCentral Areas. In fact, this areas are well known for being cold and having almost 9 months of winter time.

    – Mediterranean areas (east Catalonia, Valencia, Murcia, South Andalucia, Balearic Islands). A couple of cold weeks in winter time which is generally mild. in summer is hot, great to go to the beach.

    – Mountain areas (Navarra, North Aragon, North Catalonia, Mountains between Castilla y León and Madrid, Mountains in Granada). Alpine weather, ski resorts…. all that stuff.

    – Canary Islands: Subtropical climate because they are off the coast of Africa 3 hours flying from the peninsula.

If you’re thinking about Seville…. Seville would be classified as SouthCentral, in the southern part of that region. So cold winters….. well last year it snowed, but it’s weird. But do not expect to wear Bermuda shorts in winter because you’ll freeze. You’re going to be there in Fall…

In september and october it will stay hot still. In november and december you’ll need a sweater and maybe an umbrella.

In Spain we have a lot of variety, like everywhere. I hardly see people with scarves, but it´s ok if it´s cold. I don´t recommend you to use gloves. They aren´t necessary.
Just mix being yourself and adapting, try to not look too posh if possible. Girls don´t wear Bermudas, but short jeans are Ok.

Describing our habits would take too long, just try to erase your stereotypes and to not look as a guiri
