What tax incentives exist for hiring people who have been arrested and Native Americans?

Not for felony but for misdemeanor charges (and only one arrest, for 24-48 hours).
Also, do any tax incentives exist for hiring Native American minorities?

Not at the Federal level. If any exist they’ll be at the state level.

There are no incentives for hiring criminals! Most tax payers would be super pissed off if criminals were assisted in any way with out tax money. There is no way employers should be encouraged to hire criminals over honest people.

There’s not going to be any tax incentive for hiring someone who has had one single misdemeanor arrest. MAYBE for someone convicted, but probably not for a misdemeanor.

There is the work opportunity credit… Washing has one here…

Also, the IRS has the credit, which you can read about here.

    Hope this helps,

p.s. If you read into it, there is a whole slue of people that qualify for the credit (i.e. not just the cons and native americans).

you need to check your state regulations re: hiring N/A’s
there are some programs for challenged persons, and there may be some for released felons but you would need to check your local laws
