What is am2 and does this make a proessor significantly faster?
Ok what is the difference between a ordinary sempron 3200+ and a sempron 3200+ am2. does am2 make a processor faster and if yes how many times faster.

More L2 cache, more FSB frequancy and overall more umph than a Semperon. But right now AM2+ and AM3 is a bigger bang for the buck…
