What does having venus in scorpio and mars in cancer mean?
I did this online birthchart thing a couple of weeks ago and it showed that I have “venus in scorpio” and “mars in cancer.” Also, ever since then questions in this section sometimes ask for our “venus” and “mars” signs. My question is what these two signs determine and what does having venus in scorpio and mars in cancer make me? And I thought we all had ONLY one sign.

Grey Angel pretty well summed up the positions. I would just add that anyone with Mars in Cancer is ferociously protective of their immediate family, and when they marry or partner up they will most assuredly rule the roost. Venus in Scorpio gives passion in love. No timid little relationship will ever do for them and they can become obsesseive and possessive in love. The plus side is that you will be a partner that is fiercely loyal as long as you are sure you are receiving the same amount of loyalty that you are giving. Woe be to the man that strays if you are his partner, for he will not be able to hide his digressions forever, and when you discover it all hell will break loose.
