Is there a good time to go outside and exercise in this heat?
So everyone in Southern California knows that it’s gotten very hot all of a sudden. I’ve been doing exercises in the afternoon since the summer started, but that was when the temperature was below 80 degrees. I still want to exercise, but the heat tends to lower my energy and make me more tired. This there a better time to exercise. Should I exercise in the morning or just before the sun goes down?

I think that you should work out just after the sun goes down.

The morning is cooler but if you have been used to exercising in the afternoon then just before the sun goes down may be a time that would work better for you.
Try morning for a few days and then try just before the sun goes down and see what you prefer.
If you are not a morning person, it won’t work.
Don’t forget to stretch longer in the morning – your muscles are tighter in the AM.
