I recently pierced my earlobe and I need help?

I had recently just pierced my earlobe three days ago [I got a second earlobe piercing] on my left ear. I did it with my friend and we only did one ear since it took so long. We cleaned our ear with rubbing alcohol and cleaned the needle and the earrings with rubbing alcohol as well. I pierced my ear, and everything seems alright. I clean it and I am asking just in case if there is a risk of an infection or anything?

Doing it yourself, the risk of infection sky-rockets.

Firstly, you shouldn’t of used rubbing alcohol. It isn’t made for piercings.
Ear piercings shouldn’t take long. They usually only take a minute or less to do, if done properly.

Assuming you went to moms pin cushion and took a needle, this was a bad idea. You are supposed to use a hollow needle. Rubbing alcohol only partially kills all microbes, the only thing that can completely sterilize a needle is a autoclave, which professional piercers have at their shops.

If you ever decide to do a piercing yourself, think again. Get a professional to do it. You could of potentially ruined your ear.

You can contract HIV and AIDS from not using properly sterilized needles.
You have a higher risk of infection.
    You could develop a keloid.
    You could get a boil.
You could of used jewelry that wasn’t long enough, not allowing room for swelling, and potentially have your jewelry swallowed if the swelling is that bad.

There risks of doing piercings at home are endless, especially if you are inexperienced.

    Please, go to a professional.
