    I don’t think it’s the short term that kills you but the long term of smoking.

    Becuase then cigarette companies wouldn’t be making a lot of money if all of their buyers died on the first use.

    A cigarette clearly does not release enough CO to be lethal.

    To get enough CO in your blood to be lethal would require you to seal off the room and fill it with quite a bit of CO.
