I just want to know if heart conditions in young people (below age of 40) are rare or common and how many people die in their sleep because of these? Also what symptoms are there?
I’m worried and just want some reasurrance 🙁
Thanks everyone!

While heart defects in children/babies are actually pretty common. 1 in 100 babies(in the USA) and i think it is 1 in 75 babies(in canada) are born with a congenital heart defect(born with something wrong with your heart) It isnt exactly common to develop a heart problem as a teen/young adult that i know of. I know if you have a heart condition as a child/teen/young adult then it more commonly an undiagnosed heart defect. The symptoms are *shortness of breath *chest pain *heart palpitations *dizziness * fainting *fatigue and probably more that i am not thinking of right now. Though, the symptoms of anxiety and stress and many other things can also be they symptoms of heart problems but it is way more likely it is anxiety/stress then a heart problem(not saying its not possible though)
