How can We the People cause our Legislative branch to have term and salary limits?
The Twenty-second Amendment (Amendment XXII) of the United States Constitution sets a term limit for the President of the United States. This is unfair and should also apply to the Legislative Branch. A President really is not as powerful as perceived and shouldn’t be blamed for all the problems when another branch can stay in office indefinitely.

Why do you think term limits are a good thing? To have term limits is to transfer real power from those we elect to the permanent staff and corporate lobbyists that we have no control over.

We will throw you out even if you’re doing a great job and 99% of the people want you to stay, a really stupid policy
Term limits are not in the best interest of America
We don’t have them in Canada or most other countries
No company has them

Term limits on all of them would be just what I think we need!!!
Your right it is really not the presidents actions but all the others that make the actual decisions in the house.
Hillary clinton said it best weather you like her or not she said Vote for the people that are really running the country. she said this when she was running for pres.

A lot of times term limits might be a good idea, but on the other hand I wouldn’t want term limits for some legislators. Good people in Congress are sometimes scarce.
But anyway, “We the People” don’t have a lot to say about it (like a lot of things). Congress makes the rules, and there’s a lot of smug, arrogant and elitist types in that crowd. But I don’t think it’s worth attempting anything that would probably be doomed from the start.

Vote for people who will vote for term limits THE SAME WAY THAT YOU WOULD DO ANYTHING ELSE IN A REPUBLIC. And seriously, the president is way too powerful now to be exempt from term limits.
