Could you recommend some literature and poetry that display the power of grammar?

I want to give my students some examples of how simple shifts in grammar, etc, changes the impact of a piece of writing. I am looking for specific literary, poetic, and lyrical examples to share in class. Thank you!

Have a look at ee cummings for a complete disregard of standard English syntax, morphology — you name it. The way he draws attention to the absence of conventional norms is incredibly powerful.

All you need to do is find a good poetry website. UWP is good. http://www.unitedworldpoets.com/
