Are Atheism and Antitheism two distinctly different beliefs ?

I think the Atheism is close to Agnosticism while Antitheism is an entirely different school of thought. Would you consider this classification correct ?

Atheism means you don’t believe in any gods.
Anti-theism means you believe there aren’t any gods, and you’re against religion.

Well, most atheists are agnostic atheists. Anti-theists make up a small percentage of atheists. So yes.

Atheism – belief that no gods exist.
    Anti-theism – Against religion(it doesn’t necessarily mean that you don’t believe in god/gods)

Anti-theism or against theism can better be described as the militant Atheism – the new Atheist movement. Atheists at one time would just “live and let live” but now, with the likes of Dawkins, Hitchens, etc. they hide behind the convenience of Evolution to justify their self-proclaimed cause to attack those, who do not share in the same views as them.

atheist means literally one without god(s)/religion, or one with no god(s)/religion, literally. while an anti-theist would literally mean one who is against god(s)/religion, kind of like a satanist – but i would maybe strongly guess not. so, in my opinion they are totally two different things. an atheist is either a person who whether by choose or not (never were exposed to religion) don’t believe in god(s) while an anti-theist either actually does believe in the existance of god(s) but has no faith in them or possibly believes in the abolishment of religion for his/her own cause (no matter good or bad).

Nope. Atheism is nonbelief. Antitheism is opposition to belief in God. A minority (as far as I can tell) of atheists are also antitheists.
