Why does my Ho Scale locomotive studder & and make a screeching sound?
I have cleaned the track and cleaned all the wheels. My other locomotives run over the track fine. This one is an older one and makes a load screeching sound and jerks at the same time.

Sounds to me like it needs to be oiled. A loud screeching sound and jerks are signs of friction.
