Which Republicans so far have had to resign from service in the Bush Administration in disgrace and why?

So far, my list includes Rep. Mark Foley, for messing around with underage male pages in congress, Sen. Larry Craig for soliciting gay sex in a male airport public restroom, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales for the dismissals of U.S. Attorneys, Karl Rove, just because, and yeah, that’s the end of my list so far. Anyone can feel free to help out, just don’t spout any of that “neo-con” conspiracy garbage – I am looking for serious answers only that can add to my list. Thankies. +D
Mr The Scorpion,
Gonzales had people in his own party telling him that he was out of line and to step down. I think that pretty much equates to leaving in disgrace when a body’s own lot isn’t backing him up. With the exception of Karl Rove, all of this lot had people in their own party abandoning them to their fate.

The “in disgrace” part of your question is problematic.

Many who support these individuals do not consider their resignations to be in disgrace — they consider the disgrace to be on those who “drove out” these “fine civil servants”.

Those who oppose these individuals may or may not be willing to consider these resignations to be in disgrace — some are just tactical decisions.

But add Harriet Miers to the list — if anyone resigned in disgrace, it her after he failed confirmation process. Maybe John Bolton — again, a failed confirmation process, and then a recess appoint to get around that requirement.

Well the first two clowns got involed in gay sex, a sickness that hinders anyone’s career. But Karl Rove, his work was done, he left honorably and had nothing but praise for our President. Alberto Gonzolez remained faithful to his President to the end, and I admire him for that. I doubt Democrats, any of them, could inspire that sort of loyalty. And this is a serious answer because I believe it.

You forgot Cunningham, they have to resign because they are sorriest no good bunch of losers that ever existed. You say Republican these days and people run and hide.

Well, you are clearly not very informed. Foley and Craig were not a part of the Bush Administration, but US Congressmen. Gonzales didn’t leave in disgrace and neither did Rove. Both could have easily stayed until the end of Bush’s term.
