Quantitive is measurable, often in precise numeric terms:
“The item is 18 inches by 9 inches by 7 inches.”
“The rock weighed 400 pounds.”
Qualitative is more of a judgment or comparison:
“The item is bigger than a breadbox.”
“The rock was way to heavy for me to throw.”
