What is the best and natural way to sleep without the need of medications or sleeping pills?

I have been using sleeping pills and supplements for years. However in 2011 I want to be drug free and sleep without the need of any sleeping aid /pills. Any suggestions? Thank you

    Avoid computer/tv about an hour before you go to bed. Also, keep lights very dim in the evening. Before you go to bed, do something relaxing like reading a book, or listening to soothing music. If this isn’t enough try taking a melatonin pill a couple hours before bed. I know you don’t want to take pills, but it is natural, over the counter, and works miraculously with no side effects.     diet and exercise. Make sure you eat right and stay busy throughout the day and try to find the time to work out for an hour or so every day. Once its time to go to sleep you will be too tired to take a pill
